ISME Skillnet is promoted by the Irish SME Association (ISME) and supports small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide through subsidised upskilling programmes, including a dedicated Diploma in Artificial Intelligence focused on machine learning fundamentals for business. Its mission is to support regional development and the continued growth of the SME sector by helping businesses become more sustainable, agile and competitive, designing bespoke and flexible training that responds directly to the ongoing needs of Irish SMEs.

Collaboration with AIM: As an associated partner in the AIM consortium, ISME Skillnet contributes its direct relationships with Irish SMEs and its hands-on experience delivering AI upskilling, supporting the project's mapping of AI resources, the design of training content and the development of the Digital Warehouse. In return, ISME Skillnet gains access to a wider European network of AI tools, best practices and training materials that strengthen its own programmes and extend the reach of its support for Irish SMEs.
